If you're a dancer, illustrator, makeup artist, photographer, or any kind of creative founder — you've probably felt like AI isn't really built for you. Too complicated. Too cold. Not relevant to how you actually work.

Claude is the AI I use to run my creative business. I'm a Thai artist and founder — not a developer, not a tech person. I built my entire content system, my digital products, my financial understanding, and my content strategy using Claude. No code. No technical background. Just conversations.

Here's how to actually use it.

What Claude is (and isn't)

Claude is an AI assistant made by Anthropic. Think of it as a thinking partner — one that reads everything you give it, remembers the full context of your conversation, and responds like a smart, honest collaborator rather than a search engine.

It isn't:

  • A magic button that does everything for you
  • Something that requires technical knowledge to use
  • Only useful for writing emails or summarising documents

It is:

  • A partner that helps you think through decisions
  • A tool that builds systems, templates, and strategies with you
  • Something that works as well as the context you give it

The more you bring to it, the more useful it becomes.

6 ways I use Claude in my creative business

1. Understanding my finances

Numbers were always the most intimidating part of running a business for me. I have an art background — spreadsheets felt like a foreign language.

Now I upload my bank statements and revenue data directly to Claude and ask it to be my CFO. It breaks everything down in plain language: where money is coming in, where it's quietly leaking, what I should focus on this month.

It doesn't speak like an accountant. It speaks like a smart friend who happens to understand money.

2. Building my content strategy

I don't sit down and wonder what to post. I talk to Claude. I tell it what I'm working on, what my audience responded to last week, and what I want to grow. It helps me map out content that actually connects to business goals — not just posts for the sake of posting.

3. Packaging my knowledge into digital products

I had years of knowledge inside me — as an artist, as a founder — but no idea how to structure it into something sellable.

Claude helped me turn that knowledge into courses, prompt packs, guides, and templates. I talk through what I know, Claude structures it, I edit it into my voice. Done in days, not months.

4. Writing copy that sounds like me

Sales pages, email sequences, captions, product descriptions. I give Claude my tone, my brand, a few examples of how I write — and it drafts copy that actually sounds like me. Not corporate, not generic. Mine.

5. Making decisions when I'm stuck

When I'm confused about pricing, a client situation, or a business direction — I talk to Claude. I lay out the full situation, the options, what I'm worried about. It helps me think clearly without the emotional noise.

It's not a therapist. But for business decisions, it's the clearest thinking partner I've found.

6. Connecting to my tools

Claude connects directly to tools like Canva, Notion, and Gmail. I use it to edit Canva designs without clicking around, update my content dashboard in Notion, and draft emails I actually want to send.

This is where it stops being another AI tool and starts being an actual operating system for my work.

The reason most creatives underuse AI isn't technical. It's that they treat it like a search engine.
